“Early detection of cancer is the key to cure”

Cancers of the reproductive tract are on the rise; especially cervical cancer incidence has risen. Dr. Swati Shah has recognized the need of the hour- early detection as well as counseling. She conducts cancer detection by PAP along with HPV DNA – LBC regularly for all her patients, which helps in detection of cancerous changes in the cervix early on.

She also advises all her young patients to protect themselves from the Human Papilloma Virus with the help of vaccines, as these viruses have been associated with increased cervical cancer risk.
